LOCATED: Continuous 120,000-mile rotation route that includes the fifteen states of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, and Wisconsin

DURATION: May 25 to September 18, 2025 (120,500 miles in 120 continuous days of riding)

 

RECORD GOALS TO COMPLETE: 120th Anniversary HD Motorcycle, covering 120,000 miles in 120 days of continuous +1,000 miles per day completed by one rider on one motorcycle.

This ride is meant to show people that there is no limit to what you can do when you set your mind to it.

Record Breaking Tour

By completing this tour, Scott will not only set a new Iron Butt Association Distance Endurance Record, but will also attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the “Longest Journey by a Motorcycle in a Single Country by an Individual.”

This tour is about pushing the boundaries of man and machine and seeing what happens when you do.

• Completed a “Border To Border Insanity Ride” of nearly 1,600 miles from Canada into Mexico in less than 24 hours, while riding on his 100-year Anniversary 2003 HD Ultra-Classic.

• Certified rides of 2,000 miles in under 32 hours, along with certifying a 10/10th Ride by riding ten, 1,000-mile days consecutively all around the outside edges of the United States.

• Is the only rider to certify a 1,500-mile ride in under 24 hours by riding an old-school custom-built HD hard-tail chopper with no suspension.

The Route

The Route will start with two auxilary days:

• Auxiliary 1st Day: Miami, FL > Louisville, KY I-75N to I-64W to I-65N 1,083 mi

• Auxiliary 2nd Day: Louisville, KY > Kingston, MN I-65N to I-74W to I-80W 1,031 mi

The Loop

Proposed Fifteen State Route with a continuous 5-day 5,180-mile rotational loop:

1st Day of rotation: Night in Kingston, MN>Butte, MT (16+ hours) 1,016 miles

2nd Day of rotation: Night in Butte, MT>Sioux Falls, SD>Watertown, SD>Watertown, SD (16+ hours) 1,035 miles

3rd Day of rotation: Night in Watertown, SD>Fargo, ND>Butte, MT>Belgrade, MN, (16+ hours) 1,047 miles

4th Day of rotation: Night in Belgrade, MN>Buffalo, WY>Cheyenne, WY>Lincoln, NE (16+ hours) 1,056 miles

5th Day of rotation: Night in Lincoln, NE>Omaha, NE>Sioux City, IA>Pembrina, ND>Casselton, ND>Litchfield, MN (16+ hours) 1028 miles

The Miles

Standard (Every 5 Days) Rotation = 5,180 miles (120 days total = 4 mo.)

5,180 miles X 23 (Standard Rotations) = 119,140 miles (115 days total)

1,083 miles + 1,031 miles (2 Initial Auxiliary Days) = 2,114 miles (117-120 days predicted final)
